THE SECRET SABOTEUR TO ANY BUSINESS OR PERSONAL GOAL…

Ok, so this week is THE week that a majority of us give up on whatever New Year’s resolution we made…it is also about this time we ‘ping’ back to old habits that we swore we’d drop…and it is also the time of year that if we haven’t seen major progress in ours lives or business yet then we tend to mistakenly believe that something is wrong with you.

HOWEVER, there is a Secret Saboteur at work who is 100% out to get you and your success.

Whether you wish to drop a dress size, make more money or simply be a nicer – hidden beyond our grittiest determination lies our blind spot, a sub-conscious saboteur who wants you to fail. Here’s why:

When we set a goal or intention (like a New Year’s resolution) we believe that it is THE priority in our minds but lurking deep within you is actually ANOTHER more important intention that cancels out your new one.

For example: If your intention was to lose weight and yet you found yourself walking into Starbucks and ordering a Grande Latte, you just revealed your hidden and much stronger intention which is ‘not depriving yourself of what I love to drink’. So think about how you broke your resolution this year because that holds the key to your ‘other’ intention.

Being aware of the other intention (the se) is usually enough for you to out wit it or build a strong defence against it. As with most things you want in life your success depends on your self-esteem. The more you love yourself, the less the other intention will interfere with your goal or sabotage your efforts. Never stop making positive changes to your life, even if you have failed miserably in the past because you deserve to have the life you want. Make strong resolutions all the time not just once a year. Decide to become masterful at them and never let anything prevent you from growing and moving forward.

I sincerely wish you a divine 2015!
